About Our Client

A new opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing business based in Woking.

Job Description

  • Performs general accounting duties as required, including preparation and inputting of journal entries, account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Maintains fixed asset records and manages company Capex reporting.
  • Responsible for preparing and filing multiple jurisdiction tax and VAT returns in a timely manner.
  • Assists in any sales tax and/or property tax audits.
  • Assumes a complementary role in various stages of the annual budget preparation.
  • Conducts bank reconciliations (multi bank accounts and currencies).
  • Processes and enters vendor invoices and resolves queries.
  • Checks sales invoices and produces daily sales report to the USA.
  • Ensures all debtor, cash, and bought ledger payments are promptly and accurately recorded.
  • Participates in various credit control and collection activities.
  • Agrees all aging, receivable, and payable balances with the General Ledger.
  • Enters payments onto banking systems in preparation for authorization of payment.
  • Manages petty cash and employee expenses.
  • Files purchase and sales invoices, expenses, journals, and other accounts correspondence.

The Successful Applicant

  • Candidates must have experience in a similar role.
  • May be studying towards an accountancy qualification.
  • Strong MS Excel skills.
  • French/German preferred but not essential.
