Axon Moore is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a successful FMCG Business based in Bromborough.

Role Overview

This role is ideal for an ambitious part-qualified professional nearing the completion of their CIMA/ACCA qualification. Working closely with the Site Accountant, this broad role offers clear career progression within approximately 12-18 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Prepare monthly journals and reconcile weekly data.
• Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
• Participate in budgeting and reforecasting processes.
• Analyze data to identify and report anomalies.
• Track performance gaps and suggest improvements.
• Lead operational finance activities at the site.
• Contribute to costing and pricing for products.
• Ensure site submissions are SOX compliant.
• Act as No. 2 when the Site Accountant is unavailable.
• Collaborate across functions and levels within the site.

Candidate Skills & Knowledge

• Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Experience producing reports under short deadlines.
• Background in finance within large organizations.
• Experience in FMCG environment is a plus.

Compensation & Employment Details

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE + Study Support

This is an on-site role with flexible working hours.
