Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented newly qualified, or QBE Management Accountant to join our Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody who is eager to take on responsibility, provide detailed financial information which will support business decision-making. You will play a key role in preparing the month-end management accounts, providing variance analysis and supporting the wider finance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide variance analysis with commentary to explain performance against budget and prior periods.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting tools, processes and controls.
  • Support statutory audit preparation and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.
  • Ad-hoc analysis and project work to support business growth and efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE.
