We're working with an exciting and well-established business that is looking for an ambitious Management Accountant to join its growing finance team.

The Opportunity

We're looking for someone who is already operating with a high level of ownership and autonomy and has a proven track record of managing the full management accounting process from start to finish.

You’ll be responsible for producing accurate and insightful management information, supporting month-end and year-end processes, and working closely with stakeholders across the wider business.

More importantly, this role offers the opportunity to broaden your experience within a larger and more structured finance environment, working alongside experienced finance professionals who will support your continued development.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with part-qualified accountants who are ambitious, commercially minded and genuinely want to progress their careers.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience working within a professional services environment
• Experience owning the end-to-end management accounting process
• Strong month-end and management accounts experience
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and journals
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis experience
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills
• The ability to analyse financial information and translate it into meaningful insight
• Excellent attention to detail and a naturally analytical approach
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, forward-thinking mindset and the confidence to challenge and improve existing processes
• Part-qualified status or active study towards ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
