We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for a candidate studying towards ACCA or CIMA who is eager to develop their management accounting skills within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Description

    Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary on business performance.Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Assist in cost analysis and control, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements in production and overheads.Work closely with operations, production, and procurement teams to gather relevant financial and non-financial data.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insightful financial reports to senior management.Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors as required.Assist in developing financial models to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.Contribute to process improvements in financial reporting and internal controls.

Profile

    Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA (actively studying towards qualification).Previous experience in a management accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Enthusiasm to learn and develop within a growing company.
