Job summary

Chase & Holland, Wakefield, is partnering with a market-leading UK organisation to recruit a talented Management Accountant. This hybrid role offers a 35-hour week, progression opportunities and the chance to influence decision-making across the finance team.

You will produce full monthly management accounts, own the balance sheet, partner with senior management, prepare statutory accounts, support audit processes, and drive improvements and automation.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA
• Strong experience producing management accounts
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Confident working in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to challenge and influence
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Gravitas, resilience and a continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Produce full monthly management accounts, insightful reporting and supporting analysis
• Own the balance sheet including fixed asset register and monthly reconciliations
• Partner with Senior Management and wider finance teams, providing analysis and reporting versus forecast
• Present clear, concise financial data to stakeholders at all levels
• Assist in preparing and submitting statutory accounts and group reporting
• Act as a key contact for external auditors, ensuring a smooth year-end and audit process
• Support corporate tax submissions and other statutory returns
• Contribute to annual planning and reforecasting activities
• Drive improvements and automation across processes
• Lead, coach and develop the finance team to enhance capability
