Job summary

DJH Corporate Finance DJH Accountants Ltd in Stoke on Trent is seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance team. You will partner with senior management to deliver accurate monthly management accounts, manage month-end processes and budgeting, and support cashflow forecasting for group companies.

You’ll be nearly or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in practice or industry, be tech-savvy with knowledge of CCH desirable, and enjoy a collaborative, fast-paced environment with

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for companies in the group.
• Support with daily bookkeeping duties alongside the rest of the team.
• Manage month-end procedures such as client WIP adjustments and department reporting.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Collate management packs to be presented to the board.
• Assist with year-end and statutory accounts for group companies, cashflow forecasting and budgeting.
• Prepare weekly reports including staff analysis, chargeability and performance packs.
• Coach, develop and train junior members of the team.

As a Management Accountant you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Finance team to successfully partner with senior management and key leadership figures to achieve great things together. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.

• Prepare monthly management accounts for companies in the Great Things Together Group
• Support with daily bookkeeping duties alongside the rest of the team
• Manage month-end procedures such as client WIP adjustments and department reporting
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Collate management packs to be presented to the board
• Assist with year-end and statutory accounts for group companies, cashflow forecasting and budgeting
• Prepare weekly reports including staff analysis, chargeability and performance packs
• Confidently coach, develop and train junior members of the team
