Salary: £35,000

Location: Hams Hall

Hours: 40 hours Mon - Fri

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Management Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an AAT qualification who is eager to develop their career in finance and gain hands-on experience in management accounting.

Your Tasks

  • Support the month-end process, including preparation and posting of accruals and prepayments.
  • Ensure accurate coding and allocation of invoices in the Profit and Loss (P&L) account.
  • Assist with the Purchase Order (PO) process, maintaining sub-ledger integrity and accuracy.
  • Perform clear and accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyse monthly expenditure to provide clear, concise insights for business stakeholders.
  • Assist Business Partners with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement.
  • Participate in audits and internal compliance checks.
  • Support with various ad hoc financial tasks and reporting requirements.
Your Profile
  • AAT qualified (or equivalent).

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
