Job description

Your new company

Working for a diverse business who operate a portfolio of differing businesses from a truly beautiful location in North Yorkshire.

Your new role

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Balance Sheet reconciliation and reviews
  • Cost analysis for department managers
  • Weekly cash forecasts
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
  • Maintain stock records
  • Prepare and maintain Fixed Asset Registers
  • Process payroll for seasonal staff (payroll training will be given if necessary)
  • Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasting
  • Preparation of year-end accounts
  • Office for National Statistics returns
  • Foreign VAT returns and sales
  • Ad hoc responsibilities – such as some sales and purchase ledger duties

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally, AAT or part-Qualified CIMA/ ACCA or QBE will
  • Experience of production of management accounts (essential)
  • Advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of Sage 50 accounts and payroll
  • VAT knowledge, UK and Foreign
  • Import/Export Experience
