Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include:

1. Generation of the monthly management accounts & commentary to senior stakeholders
2. Generation of the monthly forecast & commentary
3. Review & analysis of the accounts & forecast to understand key variances and opportunities for improvement
4. Review of stock & costing processes
5. Identification of process improvements and efficient ways of working
6. Interaction with other key departments within the business

The Successful Applicant

The successful Management Accountant will be:

1. Part qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience
2. Proven track record within a manufacturing business
3. An excellent written and verbal communicator
4. Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables etc)
5. Able to work to tight deadlines
