Our client, a renown plastics manufacturer for the automotive industry, is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for their site in Minworth. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will involve contributing towards the production of accurate monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts.

Job Description
  1. Assisting in preparing and reconciling monthly accounts, including self-billing, payroll postings, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.
  2. Maintaining cashbooks and handling bank payments, credit cards, foreign currency expenses, and UK expenses efficiently.
  3. Monitoring overdue debts, ensuring timely clearance for payment and maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
  4. Collaborating on management account preparation and providing support during annual audits and variance analysis.
  5. Supporting financial projects and ad hoc tasks, contributing to process improvements under the guidance of the Financial Controller.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  1. CIMA, ACCA, ACMA, ACA qualified or working towards
  2. Previous experience working in a similar accounting role
  3. Ability to work well under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
