Qualifications

  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent with relevant experience.

Description

We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for personal growth within a dynamic business environment.

What’s the opportunity?

The Management Accountant will assist the Senior Management Accountant in producing accurate monthly management accounts and departmental reports within strict deadlines, managing cash reporting, and helping prepare company budgets.

What does the role involve?
  • Assist in the production of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for the Senior Leadership Team
  • Analyze and review detailed P&L accounts against budgets and prior year
  • Lead P&L reviews for actuals and budgets, including quarterly reviews with budget holders
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve issues promptly
  • Produce weekly management reports for senior managers and Directors
  • Ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting
  • Collaborate within the finance team to achieve key objectives
  • Manage accruals and prepayments
  • Assist with cash reporting and treasury management
  • Support other projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed
Who are we looking for?
  • CIMA/ACCA qualification or equivalent; AAT or CIMA part-qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
  • Analytical with a methodical approach to problem-solving
  • Broad skills acquired through education and work experience
  • Proactive with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
