Qualifications

Established firm with Headquarters in Stone, Staffordshire require an experienced Management Accountant to join the team. You will have a minimum of 3 years Management Accounting experience. AAT Qualified advantageous but not essential, experience is preferred to qualifications.

Office hours:- 0830-1700

Holidays:- 25 days plus Bank Holidays

Duties for the Management Accountant role will include:

* Training accounts team members in day-to-day accounts work
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Completing reconciliations and adjustments
* Maintenance of Sales, Purchase and Nominal ledgers to trial balance level.
* Preparing schedules for fixed assets, prepayments, accruals
* Preparing the month end pack to produce to the board inc P/L Balance sheet
* Reporting to the FD.

Candidate Attributes:

* Proficient using sage 50
* Good knowledge of VAT.
* Ability to adapt and work with bespoke operating systems
* Confidence with spreadsheets
* Organised, a can-do attitude and eager to help

The role will suit individuals currently working as Management Account, Finance Manager and be living within a commutable distance of Stone, Stafford, Market Drayton, Stoke-on-Trent, Cheadle, Uttoxeter, Telford, Cannock or be willing to relocate.
