Salary:£40,000 - £45,000

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Management Accountant to join our finance team based in Stevenage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone actively studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) who is looking to further develop their experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
This role offers flexibility with a hybrid working model and the chance to work across key financial processes, playing a vital role in supporting month-end and management reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals
Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
Assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities
Strong involvement in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes
Liaising with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate financial reporting
Assisting with audit preparation and compliance reporting
Key Requirements:
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
Proven experience in accounts preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
Solid understanding of AP and AR processes
Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage – desirable)
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
