Job summary

Frasers Group is seeking a finance professional to join our HQ-based property/accounts team in Shirebrook. The role focuses on month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost analysis across our property portfolio.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external consultants, supporting multiple departments and driving improvements within the systems and processes. A solid accounting background and proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in a finance role with balance sheet reconciliations.
• Experience in team management.
• Fully qualified professional qualification.
• Hard working and eager to learn.
• Intermediate Excel skills and comfort with formulas.
• Organised and determined to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely month-end processes.
• Maintain global property databases.
• Analyze prepayments and accruals against budget.
• Identify potential errors and prepare monthly reports.
• Support multiple departments across the business.
• Collaborate with external consultants on system improvements.
• Work as part of a seven-person team to process monthly property costs.

Job Description

Please note, this role is based at our Shirebrook HQ full time onsite.

The Role: To work alongside the property department and reporting into an accounting supervisor, as part of the wider accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of month-end processes within deadline.
• Maintaining global property databases.
• Analysing prepayments and accruals against a budget.
• To identify potential error’s and create monthly reports against accounting standards.
• Ad-hoc project analysis and reporting.
• Support multiple departments across the business.
• To work with external consultants on implementation of systems and improvements.
• Working as part of a team of 7 to process the monthly costs for all of our properties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 year’s experience in a finance role dealing with balance sheet reconciliations
• Team management experience
• Fully qualified professional qualification
• Hard working and willingness to learn is essential
• Minimum intermediate excel skills and be confident with formula’s
• Organised and determined to succeed
