The Role

To ensure that management information is delivered in an accurate and timely manner to meet internal deadlines. You will strive to identify efficiencies in systems and processes wherever possible.

Liaising with all stakeholders you will offer full financial support to add value and strengthen the existing management team in return, as a company committed to developing from within, you will have the opportunity to enhance and progress your career.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Production of timely and accurate Management Accounts (full P&L and Balance Sheet).
  • Preparation of monthly KPI’s and margin analysis and the provision of commentary to support Management Accounts.
  • Supporting the Operational Team with financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Posting of monthly journals including accruals and prepayments.
  • Month end process of intercompany reconciliations.
  • Completing quarterly recharge invoices, actively driving reduction in intercompany transactions.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and also quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Management of fixed asset register.
  • Suggest improvements in control processes.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and payroll reconciliations.
  • Assistance with external and internal audit requirements.
  • Support with group year-end returns and the preparation of tax analysis for P11D’s & PSA returns.
  • Treasury function, cash management, bank reconciliations and approval of purchase ledger and other ad-hoc payments.
  • Assistance with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
  • Ad hoc reporting and projects as required.

The Person

You will need excellent communication skills and be able to work in a high paced work environment with diverse personalities.

Have the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal colleagues across various departments, and work across different cultures and appreciate the international business environment.

Able to multi-task and meet deadlines and have excellent time management.

Be an organised self-starter with ability to use their own initiative.

Skills & Experience

  • ACCA/CIMA (part qualified/QBE considered)
  • Experience of multi-currency ledgers and foreign exchange an advantage
  • Experience on Netsuite and Cognos would be an advantage
  • Strong IT skills including Excel and Outlook.
  • The role is to be based at the JF Fendercare offices in Seething, Norfolk therefore, you will need to be able to commute to this location.
