Job summary

Sofina Foods is seeking a proactive Plant Finance role to deliver robust monthly reporting and maintain strong balance sheet controls. Reporting to the Plant Lead, Finance, you will partner with central finance and site teams to drive continuous process improvements while supporting professional development.

You will engage in timely month-end close, balance reconciliations, and production of CI packs, contributing to Sofina's commitment to governance and operational excellence across our sites.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of financial governance and month-end processes.
• Confident communicator, able to work collaboratively with finance and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely month-end reports in line with Sofina deadlines, including accruals and prepayments.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring reconciling items are cleared promptly.
• Business partner with Central Finance teams to understand, analyse, and report financial performance.
• Produce the periodic Plant Finance CI reporting pack.
• Work with the Centre of Excellence to reduce parked invoices and outstanding DMS cases.
• Ensure weekly reporting submissions (including working capital and inventory) are accurate and on time.
