The Role

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our award-winning team.

You’ll utilise your demonstrated experience and professional accountancy qualification to support the Finance & Operations Manager in ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all financial records, ensuring income, costs, assets and liabilities are accurately recorded, reconciled and reviewed and monitored against budget.

Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will underpin the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L variance analysis, as well as the preparation of budgets and forecast at a cost centre level. With your excellent communication skills you’ll also support function leads with supplementary analysis, including revenue and margin analytics, and will assist with insurer billing, credit control and invoice payment processes.

Bringing a proficiency in financial software and MS Excel to the role, you’ll be proud of your growth mindset, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise and work in a proactive and solutions-oriented team.

Key Accountabilities

• Coordinate month-end close of UK and US entities with our Virtual Finance Function (VFF)
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L variance analysis against budget and cash projections
• Production of supplementary analysis including revenue and margin analytics, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee and assist with insurer billing, credit control and invoice payment processes
• Support our business partners, through collaboration, communication and shared opportunities
• Contribute to enhancing processes and controls across the team and wider business
• Assist with preparation of budgets and forecasts at Cost Centre level and distribution of these to relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers and VAT consultants
• Adherence to all governance requirements and resolution of all risk and compliance action items within stipulated timeframes
