Your new company
Hays are delighted to be representing a long-standing client of ours within the Moray area to positively support in their recruitment requirement for a Management Accountant. This role will be joining a locally established, nationally recognised organisation that are market leaders within their industry providing services to individuals and organisations across the country. They are looking to recruit an experienced finance professional in the local area who is interested in a varied role on a permanent full time basis.

Your new role
In your new role, you will become a key member of the established finance team to positively support in the daily and monthly preparation and review of management accounts. This role will require someone to be a self-starter and confident in producing a full set of accounts from supporting the transactional team across accounts payable and credit control, through to providing commentary and analysis on the figures for non-financial stakeholders. The successful individual will be happy to take a lead during month end processes, as well as reporting into the Finance Director to meet strict deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will demonstrate a sound understanding of transactional finance combined with an ability to prepare management accounts with limited support. This role will suit someone who is interested in a varied finance position, either CA qualified or qualified by experience, and looking for a role to work as part of a wider finance team. You need to be a confident communicator, both written and verbal, with a willingness to manage queries from both financial and non-financial stakeholders within the business.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of up to £45,000 per annum plus company benefits that can be discussed at application stage. This role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis to work in the dynamic office environment five days a week. You will be joining an established, well known local organisation to positively support in the daily runnings of the finance function.
