Management Accountant – Retford – £35,000 - £37,000 Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a specialist manufacturing business, based within the Retford area who have an exciting opening for a Management Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a successful manufacturing business which provides its services to a variety of industries. Working directly with the Financial Controller, you will assist with the efficient running of the finance department, providing accurate information with financial analysis to support business decision making. Management Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparation of journals, including supporting calculations
• Management of prepayments and accruals
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Confirming and reconciling intercompany balances
• Production of management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis
• Input of month end, quarter end and year end results
• Maintenance of fixed asset register, including set up of new capital items and review of CAPEX against forecast
• Standard cost maintenance and variance analysis
• Direct labour and overhead cost analysis and reporting
• Inventory monitoring and review, including assisting with onsite stock take process
• Quarterly VAT reconciliations and submissions
• Assist with year end statutory and tax audits
• Support the Financial Controller in budgeting and forecasting activities

Required Skills & Experience:

• Working towards a relevant professional accountancy body (CIMA/ACCA) desired
• Working experience of a fast-paced environment, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• IT Literate including Excel and ERP systems
• Excellent communications skills
