INTERIM SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT-READING

Our Reading-based client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, analysis, and reporting. This role is crucial in supporting our strategic decision-making process and ensuring the financial health of the organisation. (Reporting to the Head Of Finance)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
  • Assist in the preparation of board reports and presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Liaise with managers to extract data
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in management accounting or a similar role.
  • CIMA/ACCA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
