Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Management Accountant to join a fast-growing group of companies operating in the creative services and live events space. With a broad remit across multiple entities and a clear path to Finance Manager, this role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant or finalist ready to step up and grow.

The business has expanded internationally and continues to invest in its people and infrastructure. You’ll be joining at an exciting point in its journey, working closely with an experienced and commercially-minded Finance Director.

You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality management accounts, improving processes, and contributing to commercial decisions across the group. This is a varied, hands-on role with exposure to multiple business units and the chance to develop leadership skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Full ownership of management accounts for several group entities
  
  
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
  
  
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement projects
  
  
• VAT returns, intercompany reconciliations, and payroll preparation
  
  
• Preparing insightful reports and analysis for the FD and senior leadership
  
  
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
  
  
• Leading year-end audit processes and statutory accounts prep
  
  
• Providing cover for the FD where needed
  
  

What we're looking for:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or finalist, with at least 3 years' experience in a fast-paced finance environment
  
  
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused mindset
  
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with non-finance teams
  
  
• Confident using Excel and comfortable working across multiple systems
  
  
• Ambitious and ready to grow into a more senior finance role in the near future
