Overview

Vertu Honda Plymouth is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join us at Vertu Honda Plymouth. We are offering a salary up to £35,000 plus company benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the accountant in producing spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team and aid business decisions.
  • Produce forecasts and estimates.
  • Produce Management Accounts.
  • Payroll.
  • Reconciliation of balance sheets.
  • Accruals and prepayments.
  • Cash flow management.
  • Reconciling manufacturer bonuses.
Requirements and Attributes
  • Experience as a Management Accountant or Assistant Accountant looking to take the next step.
  • Working knowledge of Kerridge or similar accounting systems (ideal but not essential).
  • Motor trade experience is ideal but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with financial and non-financial colleagues, clients, and customers.
  • Excellent numerical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages.
  • Good organisational skills and excellent communication skills.
