Job description

6 month Fixed Term Contract, 5 days on site per week

The Management Accountant's role:
  1. Play a key role in providing accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to support decision-making for the Operations leadership team.
  2. Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
  3. Calculate, monitor, and report key site performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. Provide support to management in decision-making by conducting financial analysis.
  5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  6. Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
  7. Prepare daily and weekly wastage reports, analysing trends and working closely with the production team to identify root causes and drive improvement initiatives.
  8. Coordinate monthly stock takes, perform stock reconciliations, and investigate variances in collaboration with the operations team.
  9. Review and improve financial processes, reporting tools, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Strong interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with non-finance teams.
