Interim Management Accountant Location: Wythenshawe (Hybrid) Start Date: Immediate Day Rate: 250 -325

A Client of mine are seeking an Interim Management Accountant to support their finance team during a period of absence. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative business known for its strong culture and global reach.

This hybrid role will involve a blend of management accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, audit support and business partnering. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across the group, contributing to high-quality reporting and decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts including prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset postings
  • Group consolidation support
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with external audit and supporting corporate governance initiatives
  • Budgeting and forecasting across multiple international budget holders
  • Finance business partnering and performance analysis
  • Involvement in business intelligence initiatives and system developments
  • VAT and Corporation Tax support
  • Intercompany ledger reconciliation assistance
The ideal candidate will be:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Technically strong, ideally with audit background and up-to-date knowledge of FRS 102
  • A proactive and confident communicator
  • Adaptable and team-focused, with a solutions-oriented mindset
