Job description

NXTGEN are proud to be working with such a well-renowned business on this exciting interim opportunity. This globally recognised organisation has culture at the very core of everything they do, and they're now looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join the team on a 6 month contract. This is a hands-on role that will see you take ownership of key areas of the month-end process, support forecasting and budgeting cycles, and provide financial insights to senior stakeholders. With strong growth plans and ongoing transformation, the role is highly likely to convert to a permanent position for the right individual.

This interim finance position offers the chance to work alongside a high-performing team during a key period of change. The business is known for its inclusive, people-first culture - a place where collaboration, innovation, and development are truly valued.

Key responsibilities of the Interim Management Accountant:

  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting and analysis
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to support commercial decision-making
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Drive process improvements and identify efficiency opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or will be Qualified by Experience and bring previous experience in a similar contract or project-based role or have experience in month end accounting. Strong Excel and financial modelling skills are essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management ability. You'll be proactive, hands-on, and confident in your ability to hit the ground running.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that truly lives and breathes its values. If you're available at short notice and want to be part of a supportive and forward-thinking team, I'd love to hear from you.
