We're working with a respected, long-established regional group that's looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join its close-knit finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a multi-entity portfolio, producing accurate and timely management accounts while supporting operational teams across multiple sites.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in providing financial insight, ensuring compliance, and helping shape strategy through analysis and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts for multiple locations and business units
• Delivering financial and analytical insight to operational managers
• Assisting in the development and delivery of business strategy
• Reviewing accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Supporting forecasting, performance reviews, and operational analysis
• Maintaining accurate documentation and statutory records
• Collaborating closely with other accountants and operational leads

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Experience as a Management Accountant—ideally within a multi-site environment
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with a proactive, "can-do" approach
• Full driving licence (some site travel required)
