Qualifications

  • Strong management accounts experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment.
  • Experience in a multi-site or group reporting environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of standard costing and inventory accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Work closely with operations to monitor costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Prepare financial analysis to support investment decisions and operational projects.
  • Assist with internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Support group reporting and shared services processes.

Vickerstock are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a world-leading heavy manufacturing organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for their Tyrone site.
This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-thinking finance professional to join one of the most respected names in heavy manufacturing. You will play a key role in providing financial insight, driving efficiency, and supporting informed decision-making across the site.
The Role
As Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information, supporting both operational and strategic objectives. This is a hands-on role, with a strong emphasis on analysis, business partnering, and process improvement.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Supporting the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Working closely with operations to monitor costs and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Preparing financial analysis to support investment decisions and operational projects.
  • Assisting with internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
  • Supporting group reporting and shared services processes.


Essential Criteria

  • A recognised accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or working towards full qualification.
  • Strong management accounts experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or similar environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.


Desirable


  • Experience in a multi-site or group reporting environment.

  • Knowledge of standard costing and inventory accounting.
