Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead budgetary control and the provision of comprehensive, accurate and timely financial management information.
• Be the line manager for the Finance Business Partner and oversee Accounts Receivable and Student Finance sections.
• Support financial planning, variance analysis and reporting to enable strategic decision-making.

Job description

SERC is currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant.

The post holder will lead the College’s processes of budgetary control and challenge, and the provision of comprehensive, accurate and timely financial management information.

The Management Accountant will be the line manager for the College’s Finance Business Partner, and will have oversight of the College’s Accounts Receivable and Student Finance sections.

• Salary: Band 8, SCP 36 – 39, £47,181 - £50,269 per annum
• Campus: Newtownards Campus
• Hours: 36 hours per week.
