Management Accountant

Husqvarna Group is now looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance/Accounting team on a fixed term basis until the end of March 2026.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting the divisional financial planning, analysis and reporting activities for the UK sales company. You will report to the Financial Controller and will be working closely with Commercial Teams.

What you will do

The key parts of your role are:

1. Co-ordination for sales company monthly closing activities
2. Sales and margin analysis (volume, price, mix) versus budget and forecast
3. Business Intelligence (BI)/Data Warehouse financial reporting
4. Warranty and rebate calculation and analysis
5. Freight and landed cost analysis
6. Overhead cost analysis, including accrual and provision requirements
7. Completion of sales company group reporting packages with full explanation and deviation analysis
8. Preparation of monthly management accounts and divisional review presentations
9. Forecasting – preparation and review of divisional monthly P&L forecast requirements
10. Budgeting - preparation of divisional annual budgets and reporting packages
11. Coupa – control of sales company business spend purchase order processes and accurate general ledger account coding
12. Ad-hoc business support projects

What we are looking for

To succeed in this role you are analytical, customer-focused, able to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and possess good communication skills.

Also:

1. Qualified or Finalist ACA/ACCA/CIMA with minimum 3 years relevant experience
2. Knowledge and experience of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence software packages
3. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
4. Experience of SAP/JDE ERP systems and Group Reporting packages (AARO)
5. Previous experience as a Project Finance Lead
