Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is hiring a Management Accountant at our Rogerstone meals site in Newport. You will deliver accurate management accounts, drive commercial insight, and support operations with robust financial data.

Working closely with production teams, you will perform balance sheet reconciliations, assist budgeting and forecasting, and help modernise processes through better systems and data. Experience with SAP and Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Experience in a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, or finance role.
• Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP/Power BI is advantageous.
• Good communication with both finance and operational stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support weekly and monthly management accounts.
• Manage customer billing and self-billing processes with key retail customers including Marks & Spencer.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and data usage.
• Utilise SAP and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Support decision making with meaningful financial analysis.

The Role

You'll become part of a close-knit finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, commercial insight, and operational support to the business.

Working closely with production and operational teams, you'll be involved in everything from weekly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations to customer billing and process improvement initiatives. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, challenging existing ways of working, and helping modernise processes through better use of systems and data.

Skills & Experience

• Qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent
• Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Accountant, or finance role
• Strong Excel skills are essential
• Experience using Power BI would be highly advantageous
• Experience with SAP is desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to communicate effectively with both finance and operational stakeholders
