Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group in Newport's Rogerstone site is seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join the site finance team. You will deliver weekly and monthly reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and provide commercial insight to production and operations.

Working closely with production and operational teams, you’ll help modernise processes through better use of systems and data, using SAP and Power BI to drive accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Previous experience within a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Accountant, or finance role.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.
• Experience using Power BI would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with SAP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support weekly and monthly management accounts.
• Manage customer billing and self-billing processes, particularly for key retail customers including Marks & Spencer.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement and help streamline existing finance processes.
• Utilise SAP and reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy; support wider business decision‑making through meaningful financial analysis.

At our Rogerstone Meals site in Newport, we produce high-quality ready meals for some of the UK's leading retailers, including Marks & Spencer. We are now looking for a Management Accountant to join our site finance team. The Role

You’ll become part of a close-knit finance team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, commercial insight, and operational support to the business.

Working closely with production and operational teams, you’ll be involved in everything from weekly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations to customer billing and process improvement initiatives. We're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, challenging existing ways of working, and helping modernise processes through better use of systems and data.

You’ll be a positive, driven, and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working as part of a team and building strong relationships across the business.

Skills & Experience

• Qualified, part-qualified, or actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent
