Job Title: Management Accountant
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £35-45,000
Location: Solihull

Job Description for Management Accountant:
Are you a management accountant or finance manager looking for a new challenge? This is an excellent opportunity to join an established company straight into a senior level reporting directly to the MD. You would have overall control and be able to lead the direction of the company's financial function providing support for financial transactions and commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify improvements within management reports according to company requirements.
  2. Understand company assets and liabilities.
  3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  4. Prepare management accounts and financial reports including analysis across finances of the business.
  5. Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
  6. Manage, produce, and monitor cash flow forecasts.
  7. Prepare cash and bank reconciliations as required.
  8. Manage Payroll & expenses ensuring information is correct for submission.
  9. Manage the company's Insurance policies ensuring renewals are completed and cover agreed sums.
  10. Prepare VAT Returns including EU and UK.
  11. Support with coaching and training within the team.

Requirements and Attributes:

  1. Qualified/Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA.
  2. Must have experience in a similar role: management accountant, finance manager, or head of accounts/finance.
  3. 23 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  4. Monday-Friday 9-5pm with hybrid working.
