Your new company

Our client is a manufacturer based in Wythenshawe, one of the top 50 in the world. They are looking for a part-qualified management accountant for a 12-month contract.

Your new role

As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, including accruals, pre-payments, cash flow statements, managing the general ledger, and posting journal entries. You will also prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, providing clear, meaningful analysis and commentary for relevant budget holders. Additionally, you will be involved in budgeting and forecasting activities. This role involves cross-department collaboration, including attending and speaking in business meetings and presenting to colleagues.

What you'll need to succeed

• Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA
• Experience in management accounts preparation
• Month-end closing experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
• Experience with SAP
