Robert Walters are excited to be representing a highly successful, multimillion pound revenue, global retail organisation, who due to continued business growth, are seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance team. This role offers the chance to support all Management Accounting activity for a key division, ensuring accurate and technically robust management accounts are produced in line with group finance service levels. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and thriving under tight deadlines.

What you'll do:
  • Assist the Finance Manager in leading the team
  • Support month end close process, ensuring ledgers are closed to strict deadlines
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all aspects of the divisional accounts
  • Ensure all monthly reports are timely and accurate
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with provision of divisional accounts and support the Finance Directors and Finance Business Partners
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Interact with transactional teams to aid continuous improvement
What you bring:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
  • Experience of SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across various stakeholders
