The University of Manchester is seeking a Finance Business Partner for the Faculty of Humanities on a 16-month fixed-term maternity cover. You will coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes, drive financial control, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Finance Team.
This 16-month fixed-term maternity cover role supports the Faculty of Humanities, playing a key role as part of business partnering finance team. The role will deliver accurate monthly management accounts, coordinate budgeting and forecasting, and provide clear financial insight to budget holders and senior academic and PS colleagues. Through collaborative business partnering, robust financial control and continuous improvement, the postholder will help colleagues understand financial performance, manage risks and make well-informed decisions.
The Faculty of Humanities Finance Team provides professional financial management, reporting and business-partnering support across the Faculty. This role works closely with academic and professional services colleagues, budget holders, School leadership and the wider Directorate of Finance. The postholder will contribute to a supportive, collaborative team and help deliver a consistent, customer-focused finance service across the University.
