Management Accountant

Rutherford Briant is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for a highly regarded and award-winning business based in Loughton. They pride themselves on providing clients with an experience that surpasses expectations through their various platforms.

Our client is looking to add a Management Accountant to their established finance team. They seek a finance professional with good management accounting experience to work alongside the Financial Controller in producing the full set of management accounts and month-end reports.

They are offering a competitive salary between £35,000 and £45,000, along with a range of excellent benefits.

What you will do:

1. Work directly alongside the Financial Controller and liaise with board members regularly.
2. Take responsibility for specific divisions within the company, managing all accounting and reporting for your assigned divisions.
3. Prepare monthly management accounts, basic tax, and annual financial reports.
4. Collaborate with Divisional Directors and other teams to prepare the annual group budget and quarterly financial forecasts.
5. Compile information for board reports and other ad hoc divisional reporting.
6. Prepare P&L and balance sheet reconciliations across divisions.
7. Assist other finance team members as needed.

What you will need:

• Good management accounting experience.
• Strong Excel and IT skills.
• Accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/AAT) preferred.
• Knowledge of Sage 200 is ideal.
• Experience working within a media and/or multi-project business is preferable.
