Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd. is representing a growing East London organisation recruiting a proactive Management Accountant. Hybrid working offered.

You will prepare monthly journals, balance sheet reconciliations, support month-end close, produce P&L commentary, and manage EU VAT returns; liaise with external accountants for statutory reporting.

Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or equivalent; strong general ledger and month-end experience; able to work both independently and in a team.

We are partnering with a growing organisation in East London to recruit a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to step into a broad and hands-on role within a supportive team environment.

Reporting to the senior leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journals, including accruals and prepayments
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations (bank, stock, intercompany and fixed assets)
• Support and deliver the month-end close process within agreed deadlines
• Produce monthly P&L analysis with clear and insightful commentary
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly EU VAT returns
• Liaise with external accountants, providing information for statutory reporting and VAT queries
• Produce monthly global client revenue

About You

• Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong general ledger experience with exposure to month-end processes
• Confident managing reconciliations across multiple accounts
• Comfortable working with international entities and multi-currency environments
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently
