Job Title : Assistant Accountant

Summary

We are representing an experienced property development company based in London looking to bring an Assistant Accountant into their team. This role will play a crucial role in their continued growth and have excellent prospects to grow into an FM role for right candidate.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare customer invoices and manage receivables.
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor short and long-term cash flows.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the preparation of budget forecasts and variance analyses.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly financial reports to the external lenders.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns and CIS returns.
• Assist with production of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
• Code invoices accurately and ensure timely processing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Maintain intercompany loan interest schedules.
• Provide administrative support and cover to the finance team as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.
• Liaise with external property management company and assist with reviews of client statements and service charge accounts produced by them.
• Ad-hoc projects and reports to assist with Senior Management decision making.
