Monica Vinader is a private equity backed omni-channel retailer operating globally. The business operates across eCommerce, multi-site retail and wholesale channels. The company directly controls and accounts for subsidiaries in the UK, US, China, Hong Kong and Singapore and achieved sales of over £100m in the most recent financial year.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a PE backed growing DTC business.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for accurately reporting and analysing the Group's financial performance.
You will be pro-active, demonstrate attention to detail, be driven to implement improvements and utilise strong communication skills to work efficiently in finance and across the business.
What you'll do- Month End - completing month end reconciliations and analysis for reporting. Including sales and store reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany reconciliations
- End to end ownership of a foreign entity
- Tax management for a foreign entity
- Reconciling bank transactions and accounts, expenses and credit cards
- Stock reconciliations - performing detailed reviews and reconciliations of month end stock levels
- Financial Year End and Audit - supporting the audit and statutory financial statements process
- Gross margin analysis - reviewing and reporting channel and product margins and other associated costs
- Cash flow forecasting - contributing to weekly and monthly currency cash flow projections
- Assisting with the departmental, Board and Private Equity reporting and analysis - producing and communicating numbers to cost centre and commercial heads
- Developing robust internal financial controls in areas of responsibility
- Proactively explore and make recommendations for process improvement in finance and across the business
- Ad hoc finance projects
What you'll bringEssential- Part Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Educated to degree level or AAT qualified
- Experience with IFRS and Group accounting
- Proven experience working in a finance team
- Keen attention to detail
- Self-motivated and well organised
- Strong communication skills - confident talking to internal staff
- Proactive - able to generate new ideas and more efficient ways of working
- Team player
- Able to work to monthly deadlines
- An aptitude for IT - proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and other standard software packages
Desired- Used Sage accounting system (preferably Sage 200)
- Experience with dealing with sales reconciliations and stock accounting
- Fast paced and high growth business experience
- Retail background

Additional RequirementsAbility to document your authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.
Travel RequirementsOccasional travel to the Norfolk office.
