Management Accountant

Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for your next challenge? I'm delighted to be partnered with a long-standing, Wirral-based client as they look to appoint a brilliant finance professional to join their team. This manufacturing firm has consistently grown year-upon-year - a very well-known and highly regarded organisation. The finance team is impressive - long-standing members of staff and fantastic leaders to learn from and develop with.

My client is seeking a Management Accountant who wants to make an impact - somebody who can join the team and help them continue to succeed.

Key duties of this role will include:

• Overall responsibility for the production of monthly management account packs - this will include full analysis, journals, reconciliations etc.
• Oversee the production of VAT returns
• Responsibility over Accruals and Prepayments
• Working closely with the Head of Finance
• Assisting with the full year-end process - including audit
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Cash flow forecasting

Candidate profile:

• You will be fully qualified or a finalist - ACCA/CIMA etc.
• Excellent eye for detail
• A passion for finance and a desire to join a dynamic, fast-paced team
• Excellent systems knowledge
• Experience within manufacturing would be an advantage, but is not essential
