Job description

Management Accountant – Liskeard – On-site. Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience (get in touch to discuss). Location: Liskeard – On-site. Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday. Start: Flexible for the right person.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Preparing statutory accounts, monthly management accounts, and journal entries for review
• Maintaining general ledger integrity and completing monthly reconciliations
• Reviewing payroll processing for authorisation
• Overseeing shared service accounting functions and ensuring accurate reporting
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Monitoring cashflow and providing insightful analysis
• Liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies
• Driving improvements in financial systems and internal controls

What We’re Looking For:

• AAT Level 4 qualified (minimum)
• ACCA or CIMA part-qualified/qualified preferred (but not essential)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a busy, multi-entity environment
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems
• Confident communicator with strong analytical skills
