Management Accountant, Permanent job in Lichfield with hybrid working, paying £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

Your new company

Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with this service company based in Lichfield. The business has a great reputation locally and is a well-known brand. Part of a larger group, this business has a stable workforce and is now in a position to recruit a Management Accountant in this newly created role.

Your new role

The job of the Management Accountant will be a hands-on one. It will involve but not be limited to:

  1. Producing monthly management accounts
  2. Balance sheet reconciliations
  3. Prepare monthly and quarterly group submissions in line with group reporting
  4. Assist in drafting statutory accounts and preparing audit schedules
  5. Cashflow forecasting and reporting
  6. Populate capex templates, working with budget holders
  7. Being responsible for the accuracy of financial information that is used to produce reports, both internally and externally
  8. Owning the month-end process including journals, accruals, and prepayments
What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will either be a qualified accountant or a QBE with a number of years of experience working within a similar role. They will be comfortable working to tight deadlines and happy in a management accountant role. They will be a self-starter and happy to produce a set of management accounts with minimal support.

What you'll get in return

This job comes with a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum and a 37.5 hour working week. It also has up to a 10% annual bonus, 25 days holiday + statutory days, this is a hybrid working role with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.
