My client is a multi-disciplinary accountancy firm providing a wide range of professional services beyond traditional accounting. They offer financial, advisory, auditing, taxation, and business consultancy services. They are looking to recruit a Management Accountant on a full-time permanent basis.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day finance operations for multiple business interests within the group.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily finance operations for multiple business entities within the group.
2. Manage Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables processes.
3. Perform Bank Reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial records.
4. Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management.
5. Develop, monitor, and update budgets and forecasts.
6. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
7. Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
8. Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
9. Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
10. Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures.
11. Weekly KPI Reporting: Prepare and present weekly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to track business performance.
12. Monthly Management Accounts Pack: Compile and present the monthly management accounts pack, including detailed financial analysis and commentary.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
2. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
3. 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
4. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Xero.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
