Based in South West Leeds, this client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join an established team reporting into a fantastic "new in role" Financial Controller. Due to growth and a restructure, the core finance team within this business will continue to grow and evolve over the coming months, so this is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for long-term career growth. The client is looking for broad management accounting experience and the capability to work within a fast-paced change environment.

Your new role will include:

• Producing insightful analysis, comparing results to forecast and budget
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Management of Assistant Accountants
• Produce regular and timely mid-month reports to track performance
• Produce detailed review and analysis of the expense base comparing results to forecast and budget
• Support the Financial Controller with the onboarding of additional team members
• Performing month-end reconciliations and providing analysis
• Preparation of Board and Business Review Packs
• Support the production of annual budget
• Supporting the preparation of the monthly forecast
• Contribution to ongoing continuous improvement of processes within the team

As the team continues to expand, there will be further opportunities within this business. You will be expected to be in the office three times a week, with 2 days a week working from home. Ideally, this role is looking for candidates who are either qualified or close to qualification. This role will be offered on a temporary to permanent basis, and you will ideally be free to start with a short or no notice period.
