Management Accountant (Fixed-Term - Maternity Cover) to October 2026
Location: Larbert
Reporting to: Director of FP&A and Corporate Development
Contract Type: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover)


We are currently seeking a highly motivated Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. Based in Larbert, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, contributing to the financial success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver consistent, accurate, and timely financial reporting for assigned business areas
  • Support the forecasting and budgeting process, including trend analysis, identifying non-recurring items, and evaluating future performance
  • Ensure robust financial control through balance sheet reconciliations, supporting analysis, and documentation of processes
  • Compile and distribute monthly financial reports and commentary
  • Respond to ad hoc financial analysis and project work as requested by the Director of FP&A and Corporate Development
  • Provide financial insight and support to Finance Business Partners across the business
What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and financial ledger systems (experience with CODAS preferred)
  • Experience with Cognos (including development) is a significant advantage
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with non-financial stakeholders and senior management
  • A proactive, flexible mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Fully qualified or part-qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA), or actively working toward qualification
