Job description

Axi Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join one of our clients, who are a leading global manufacturing business. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Hull, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Generating weekly and monthly financial reports
  2. Gathering weekly outlook data to forecast P&L
  3. Assisting the Accountant with weekly tasks and financial reporting
  4. Overseeing the fixed asset register and managing Capex requests
  5. Processing and reviewing employee expense claims for accuracy
  6. Compiling month-end reporting packs for review by senior management
  7. Updating management accounts with actuals and forecasts
  8. Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
  9. Managing intercompany reconciliations and ensuring balance sheet accuracy
Requirements:
  1. Hold an ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification
  2. Previous experience in a similar role is essential
  3. Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders
  4. Strong time management and high organisational skills, prioritise tasks accordingly
  5. IT proficient with MS Office including Excel and SAP
  6. Excellent reporting abilities, with a keen aptitude for analysing and managing financial data
