Reed Finance are partnering with a well-established organisation in Edinburgh city centre to recruit a dedicated Management Accountant. The role covers daily financial tasks, critical reporting, and ensuring accuracy of financial documents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash flows and perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Monitor aged debtors and handle ledgers in GBP and EUR.
• Produce monthly sales invoices and reconcile to the Sales Ledger.
• Collect Direct Debits from customer accounts.
• Carry out monthly supplier payment runs and PAYE reconciliation.
• Produce VAT returns.
• Prepare monthly management accounts for two entities.
• Perform balance sheet and stock reconciliations.
• Prepare forecasts and ad-hoc management reports.

Management Accountant

Reed Finance are working with a well-established organisation based in the heart of Edinburgh city centre who are seeking a dedicated Management Accountant. This role involves managing daily financial tasks, producing critical financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial documents.

As well as established management accountants, this client also welcomes experienced assistant accountants with good exposure across month-end duties, looking to take the next step up.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Managing daily cash flows and perform daily bank reconciliations
• Monitoring Aged Debtors and handle both £GBP and EURO ledgers
• Producing monthly sales invoices and reconcile these invoices to the Sales Ledger
• Collecting Direct Debits payments from customer accounts
• Conducting monthly supplier payment runs and PAYE payment preparation and reconciliation
• Producing VAT returns
• Preparing monthly management accounts for two entities
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and stock reconciliation
• Preparing forecasts and ad-hoc reports for management as required
