Overview

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a global manufacturer in North Bradford as they look to recruit an experienced management accountant on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity, based at their production site, reporting directly to the Head of Finance.

The role is essentially a stand-alone position, working closely with their wider finance team in Halifax as well as their overseas teams across Europe. You will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts for two sites, providing enhanced reporting and analysis and business partnering with all areas of the site. The chosen candidate will have full autonomy working as a cohesive cog between the different areas of the business. Candidates with solid manufacturing experience, working in a stand-alone or autonomous role are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the monthly management accounts production including in-depth analysis and reporting
• Participating in product costings, business partnering other areas of the business including supply chain
• Analysing monthly trends and variances, offering expert advice and recommendations
• Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts
• Produce variance reports
• Work with UK finance team on transactional accounting
• Reconciling multiple bank accounts
• Attend monthly management meetings

Person spec

• Part or fully qualified accountant - CIMA / ACA / ACCA
• Previous manufacturing experience, ideally within a £20m+ t/o business
• Experience with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, Hyperion coupled with good Excel skills
• Experience in product costing
• Strong communicator - candidates working in a business partnering role would be encouraged to apply
