The Royal Academy of Music is a stimulating and friendly environment with a diverse mix of students and staff from over 50 countries. Many of the world’s leading musicians and performers studied with us and we are firmly focused on developing tomorrow’s musical leaders in a number of disciplines including classical, jazz, and musical theatre.

We seek a Management Accountant to join our Finance department. You will be responsible for assisting the Finance & Planning Manager preparing monthly management accounts and provide detailed analysis. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the business to maximise revenue and profitability.

The role sits with the area of the finance team that is responsible for financial planning, which also includes student fees. This is an exciting new role and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to learn and achieve personal growth within one of the best music conservatoires in the world. This role is offered on a part-time basis, three days per week (0.6 FTE).

You will be a team-player who has plenty of initiative and takes pride in working efficiently with great attention to detail. Previous experience in accounting, a good standard of general education, good excel skills and excellent interpersonal and communication and skills are essential requirements of this role. An accountancy qualification (or working towards this) and experience in higher education are advantageous.
